小混混“化骨龍”（張家輝 飾）與母親（羅蘭 飾）相依為命，因一次撞車，化骨龍被老差骨“千年蟲”（李修賢 飾）扣下，所幸龍母的裝傻技巧助其脫身。四處欠下高利貸的化骨龍母子二人為了躲債不得不時常做戲躲避追債，這日龍母賭馬命中，收利的化骨龍卻遇上債主被仇家所殺，無意中發現了債主藏錢所在的化骨龍僥幸逃出，又被千年蟲作為該命案的重要征人予以全天候的“保護”，只見過兇手屁股的化骨龍思忖脫身后盜走兇案現場的藏金，無奈千年蟲的女兒清純可人，他終不忍離去。另一方面，兇手按照千年蟲公布的信息，找到了化骨龍母子，引發龍、蟲二人攜手對抗兇徒。
